Welcome!
Welcome! We invite you to spend time on our site learning about our mission and philosophy in Early Childhood Education.
Our Story
Cradle to Crayons Early Learning started 21 years ago as a home childcare. It has steadily grown and developed into the program we have today. We are continually striving to make advancements in our field and to be actively immersed in the cirriculum provided to the children as well as our own education. We pride ourselves in having a staff that is committed to providing your family with the highest quality of care that we believe every child deserves. We recently decided to take on this exciting journey of becoming accredited in The Curiosity Approach. This is a modern day approach to Early Childhood Learning. Children explore using authentic and real resources that they have experiences with in their every day life at home and around the world. We set up enchanting environments to create a world of magic and wonder for the children to have a home away from home, as well as a magical enchanting land.
Our Mission Statement
Our Mission is to Provide high-quality care in a calm, tranquil environment where children feel safe, secure, imaginative, encouraged, and inspired to be creative thinkers.
Helping Your Child Explore, Grow, & Learn
- Children have curious little minds and are able to explore the environment, resources, and activities with awe and wonder in their play. They are able to build up valuable moments of deep play time.
- This approach has a wide range of global inspiration and the children can explore resources, activities, and cultures from around the world. The classroom is a treasure trove to encourage awe and wonder with every turn.
- We set up the environment daily for children to explore the joy of learning as they have access to real natural resources to spark curiosity and wonder in everyday play.
- Children learn to use their senses to explore the world around them through natural resources and messy play.
- Children have access to a wide range of loose parts and upcycled materials to allow them to use their imagination to create and explore the process rather than the product.
